Lindy Gifford, the creator of Doodle-ography, is an artist and graphic designer living on the Damariscotta River in Maine. She has worked as an archaeologist and is a life-long Unitarian Universalist. In June of 2015 she was ordained as an interfaith chaplain at ChIME, the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine, a wisdom school located in Portland, Maine. She is also a life-long doodler and dyslexic. As a child, teachers told her not to doodle, not realizing that it was an integral part of her learning process. She has found her calling in working to change perceptions about doodling and bringing it's healing to as many people as possible.
